As a learning professional, I leverage my expertise in instructional design, graphic design, and web development to create training materials that resonate. My career has spanned technical design/development and creative/artistic design, allowing me to work for iconic, high-profile brands in the corporate retail and consumer technology industries. With a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Clark Atlanta University and further education in Web Design and UX/UI Design, my foundation in technical and creative disciplines has been solid from the start. My graduate work in Learning, Design, and Technology/Instructional Design and Development (IDD) at the University of Georgia has further honed my skills, focusing on the most effective ways to craft educational experiences.
I have a proven track record of combining graphic design, web development, and instructional principles to create learning materials that are not only informative but also engaging and visually appealing.
I am well-versed in the ADDIE Model, SAM Model, Blended Learning, and Microlearning, ensuring that the learning experiences I design are effective, efficient, and tailored to meet the needs of diverse learner populations. I’m proficient with tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, various Learning Management Systems (LMS), Camtasia, and Vyond.
